I HELPED MY CLASSMATES BY DOING THE VOLUME AND WE WERE HELPING EACH OTHER WITH DOING THE SURFACE AREA CALCULATIONS. I WAS ABLE FINISH THE WHOLE PAPER BECUASE I STAYED FOCUSED IN DID WHAT I HAD TO DO. I LEARNED HOW TO DO MY ROUNDING SKILLS BECAUSE THE NUMBERS CAME OUT BIG SO I HAD TO ROUND IT S THAT WAS A GREAT THING FOR ME. I USE THESE SKILLS EVERYDAY WHEN IM AT WORK SO IM USE TO SEEING NUMBERS EVERYDAY.ONE THING I STILL HAVE A QUESTION ON IS WHAT IS THE DIFFERNCE BETWEEN THE SURFACE AREA IN THE VOLUME????

Surface area of a cylinder is the area of a can when you cut it open and lay it down flat on a table. The surface area can tell you how much of aluminum you need to make a can.
ReplyDeleteVolume of a cylinder is the space inside of a can when the can is NOT cut open. It can tell you how much stuff you can pour in the can. For example, 12-oz. soda can contains 12 ounces of soda inside the can.
